The XD5-40IIt-H is a premium 4-inch (118 mm) desktop barcode and label printer from BIXOLON, specially designed for use in the Healthcare industry. It is based on Thermal Transfer technology and has special features for hospitals, clinics and laboratories. With antimicrobial/resistant plastic, its white housing is made of special materials for frequent disinfection, resistant to harsh cleaners and ultraviolet (UV) radiation to prevent discoloration. In accordance with medical safety specifications, it is accompanied by a power supply approved with the medical standard IEC 60601-1. It offers a high print speed of 8 ips (203 mm/sec). It supports resolutions of 203 dpi or optional 300 dpi for absolute clarity on small text or dense barcodes. It is ideal for printing patient identification bracelets, laboratory samples and pharmacy labels.
