Zebra TC52ax-HC is a top-tier handheld terminal tailor-made for healthcare environments. It features a 5-inch Full HD display with 600-nit brightness, ensuring excellent readability even under bright lighting. Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 octa-core processor at 2.45 GHz, it includes 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB UFS storage. Barcode capture (1D/2D) is handled by the integrated SE4720 scan engine, delivering fast and accurate scanning even on curved surfaces, aided by white illumination LEDs and a green aiming reticle optimized for healthcare use. It offers a 13 MP rear camera with Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF) for high-resolution documentation, and a 5 MP front camera for telehealth and video call applications. A battery warm-swap capability allows replacement of the battery without interrupting device operation. The device is “disinfectant-ready” and built to minimize crevices, meeting IP65/IP68 standards for durability and sterilization. Additional features include a red alert button for emergencies, and support for NFC, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, along with remote device management via Zebra’s Mobility DNA suite.
