Zebra DS8178-HC Healthcare Scanner 1D/2D 

Zebra DS8178-HC is a top-of-the-line wireless barcode scanner (imager), specifically designed for healthcare environments and hospital workflows. It features a high-resolution image sensor (1280x960 pixels), offering top performance in reading demanding 1D and 2D barcodes, even if they are damaged or of poor quality. It focuses on patient safety and is often used for patient bedside identification, electronic medical record access and traceability applications. One of its key advantages is its power flexibility. It allows instant switching between two power options: the intelligent PowerPrecision+ Li-Ion battery (up to 65,000 scans) and the PowerCap capacitor (up to 2,000 scans). Durable design in white (Healthcare White) and connects via Bluetooth 4.0.
